MBR is a fully licensed and insured general contractor. We carry a $2,000,000 general liability insurance policy. We also require that all sub-contractors who might enter your home to carry the identical insurance policy, or they can’t work for us. As a general rule, you should request that your licensed general contractor obtain the building permits. This is because the person who pulls the permit is considered liable for ensuring that all completed work complies with the state and local building code requirements.
